Stay on top of everything USE AI to give you & your kids an unfair advantage.
Last newsletter I listed 5 AI programs TO help you GET STARTED with AI in YOUR classroom. Many were DEMO Lessons which I love.
However, many people asked me
“What programs can my students USE?”
So here is a list of my favourite 11 AI-powered apps that are safe & appropriate for students under 13 and of course anyone over 13, it’s open slather. These tools focus on education, creativity, and exploration while adhering to child safety and privacy standards.
Why 11? Well, in numerology and astrology, 11 is the VIP of numbers, synonymous with insight, inspiration & the kind of genius that makes people say,
"Whoa, how did you think of that?"
Exactly what I’m aiming for with these apps.
DO TRY them all out. I assure you, you have fun & then you will know what AI can do well & what it can’t.
At the moment I am deep into Human & AI collaboration in Narrative StoryTelling.
A New Jumper, A New Jumper with some Monkey Business, What a Disaster! and the next one “The Portal,” all with videos and books. What a joy to be able to control the whole process. AI is a collaborative tool that enhances artistic expression.
Using AI I can focus more on the creative & conceptual aspects of design, reducing technical limitations. These stories are for brave, courageous and adventurous children ages 3 to 103 or anyone who likes monkeys. Stories for all Humans, great stories, no agenda.
HERE’S to more amazing adventures.

Arts and Culture Google Blob Opera Experiment with different pitches and different voices. You can take the blobs on a tour around the world, the blobs can also sing specific songs, relevant to the different cities.
The experiment introduces students to the role of machine learning and AI in creating music. The blobs' voices are generated through a model trained on opera singers, blending human artistry with AI.
Human-AI Collaboration: It demonstrates how AI can augment creativity, showing that technology can be a tool for artistic expression, not just computation.
Understanding Vocal Ranges: Students can experiment with different voice types tenor, mezzo-soprano, soprano, and bass—to learn about pitch, timbre, and harmony.
Musical Composition: By dragging the blobs, students compose their own melodies and explore how different pitches create harmonies.
Polyphony & Harmony: Students can create layered compositions, learning about chords, scales, and harmonic intervals in a hands-on way.
Improvisation: The tool encourages students to experiment with melodies, rhythms, and patterns, fostering musical creativity.
Creative Expression: Students compose their own opera pieces, enhancing their creativity and problem-solving skills.
Chrome Music Lab This one is soo much fun. One of my favourites is Kandinsky, This experiment is inspired by Wassily Kandinsky, an artist who compared painting to making music. It turns anything you draw – lines, circles, triangles, or scribbles – into sound. I love this one for reinforcing 2D shapes.
Song Maker To make a song, add notes by clicking the grid.
Harmonics The harmonic series is a set of frequencies with a simple relationship: twice as fast, three times as fast, four times, and so on. Musical intervals emerge from this natural phenomenon, such as the octave and the major chord.
Experiments with Google Word Synth A fun way to play with speech and music.I love this one and have used with spelling words.
Viola the Bird Viola the Bird is the world's first “bird-tuoso”. Regardless of your musical ability, you can help Viola the Bird play its cello-inspired instrument.
Viola the Bird is a great way for anyone to learn about string instruments and to explore their own creativity through music.
Creatability with Google Creatability is a set of experiments made in collaboration with creators and allies in the accessibility community. They explore how creative tools – drawing, music, and more – can be made more accessible using web and AI technology. They’re just a start. We’re sharing open-source code and tutorials for others to make their own projects. Body Synth If you have the right setup for this it is so much fun. Kids can conduct the orchestra, their movements are shown as stick figures and they make different sounds.

What a DISASTER! This Video Should Be Banned
THE THEME: Life isn’t just unpredictable—it’s outrageously unfair, ridiculously chaotic, and totally unstoppable. Disasters will come. Big ones. Weird ones. Ones that make absolutely no sense.
BUT HERE'S THE TRUTH: You CAN'T control what happens. You CAN control what happens NEXT.
RESILIENCE isn’t about avoiding disaster, it’s about staring it in the face, laughing through the wreckage and stepping forward anyway. It’s about getting knocked down, standing back up, daring life to do its worst and proving that nothing,
NOTHING, can stop YOU.
